Destiny Profile - Peaches Chun

 

Peaches is the 3-yr-old daughter of Tavern Proprietors Pabo and Fluer Chun. She barely remembers her birth family of mer, and a traumatic event with a big net. "One day a big net come down deep in de wader and mine mommy and daddy wit tails try to get away from it but den day were all gone. day neber come back." 

Alone in the seas, Peaches learned to stay alive eating oysters.  "I learn berry fast how to get oysters out of dee shells so i neber beez hungry. and you knowz wot der were pearls in some dem oysters so i kept collecting them. i gotz several hundred black ones and gold ones and pink ones and white ones. when i find gold ingotz in de mounds i make jewelery. i wears black pearls always and foreber."

Peaches was not defeated. "it no use beez sad and sit on mine special rock so i swimy and swimy and swimy. i kept hear about a chest in dee ocean so i go on a quest to find it. i had do yots of sings and collect sings to be able to find dat yiddle black treasure chest. but i did it finally. and it were all worth it cause when i gotz dat chest open der were a gold mermaid staff wit jewels in dee handle. it were dee most beautiful sight i eber see. so shiny and sparkley."

You may have seen Peaches is a fierce hunter of shark. She used that new staff and became  "de bestest shark kilter eber." She learned to mine gems and even ventured on land to fix her oyster nets.

Counting them as her best friends, Peaches credits Capt Paul Sawbones and Iliana Fox with helping her find her forever family. "I wouldn't beez a girl and have a mommy and daddy wit out dem. day see how lonely i were and day couldn't keep mez because capt paul are a doctor and iliana are a fox, so day find mez a family." On what she describes as the best day of her whole life, Pabo and Fluer told her "we want you beez our yiddle girl for eber and eber. dat were de bestest day of mine whole life cause nowz i gotz a family and we do yotz sings togeder. day yove me so muh and i yove dem so muh tooz. nowz i gotz a whole new life and neber bees lonely eber again. oh and i gotz a siser too she name maria."
